Welcome to The Good Life Mom© (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing our website https://www.thegoodlifemom.com, purchasing our coaching services, or attending our workshops, you agree to these Terms.

1. Ownership and Intellectual Property

All content, courses, workshop materials, and downloads (the “Content”) are owned by The Good Life Mom©.

Single User License: Your purchase grants you a limited, non-transferable license for personal use.
Prohibited Acts: You may not share your login credentials, sell my workshop PDFs, or record group sessions without express written consent. One purchase = one user.

2. Professional Disclaimer & Scope of Practice

Liisa Armstrong is a certified Matrescence and Motherhood Coach; she is not a licensed psychologist, medical doctor, or therapist.

Not Therapy: Coaching is not a substitute for clinical mental health care or medical treatment for postpartum conditions.
Client Responsibility: You are responsible for your own well-being. If the Coach determines your needs exceed the scope of coaching, she reserves the right to refer you to clinical support and, if necessary, terminate the coaching relationship.

3. Payment, Refunds, and Cancellations

Coaching Sessions. Payment is required in full prior to the start of services unless a payment plan is agreed upon. A Full refund is applicable if session is cancelled 48 hours in advance.
- The "Grace" Policy: We require 24 hours’ notice for 1:1 cancellations. We allow one emergency reschedule per coaching package. Subsequent late cancellations result in a forfeited session.
- No-Show Policy: If you fail to show up or cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, the session is non-refundable and non-transferable.
- 3 Month and 6 Month coaching packages: If you choose to terminate the program early, you will be refunded for the remaining sessions at the pro-rated package rate, minus a $50 administrative fee.
Digital Products & Workshops: Due to the instant delivery of digital assets and limited seating in workshops, all sales are final. No refunds are provided once materials are accessed or a workshop seat is reserved.

4. Group Coaching & Workshop Conduct

To maintain a safe space for all mothers, the following rules apply to all group programs:

Strict Confidentiality: You agree that any personal information shared by other participants during group calls or in community forums is strictly confidential. You may not share another member's story, name, or details outside the group.
No Solicitation: You may not use group sessions to sell your own products or services to other members.
Termination of Access: The Company reserves the right to remove any participant from a group session or community forum, without refund, if their conduct is deemed disruptive, disrespectful, or a breach of participant privacy.

5. Testimonials & Social Media

By tagging @thegoodlifemom or using our brand hashtags, you grant us a non-exclusive license to re-post your content for promotional purposes. For formal testimonials shared within coaching, we will always obtain your separate written consent before publishing them.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law in Alberta, The Good Life Mom© and Liisa Armstrong shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client to the Company in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Liisa Armstrong and The Good Life Mom© from any claims or legal fees arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the materials provided.

8. Confidentiality (Coach-to-Client)

We maintain confidentiality of all 1:1 communications, except where disclosure is required by law (e.g., risk of harm to self or others, or suspected child abuse/neglect in accordance with Alberta mandates).

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes shall be settled in the courts of Alberta.
